Ventilator in metal box on wheelchair

Ventilator and its placement on the wheelchair
Description
The user has two identical ventilators, one for the night (photo 2) and one for the day (photo 1). During the day the ventilator runs on an internal battery and she uses the wheelchair battery as an external battery. The daytime ventilator is placed in a metal box and is rather exposed on the wheelchair behind the backrest. The distance between the ventilator and the backrest has to be large so that she can lower the backrest.
Authors comments
The user needs a ventilator around the clock. She has a tracheotomy.
In the past the ventilator was mounted on the wheelchair backrest. The wheelchair was smaller and somewhat more convenient, but the backrest broke twice. Consequently the ventilator was placed in the metal box.
The user is not satisfied with the solution. The chair has become very large and she has problems in situations such as entering elevators.
The device itself is also large. Smaller ventilators are available, but her county council does not prioritize this matter.
