Start » Binoculars with stand
Binoculars on stand; can be used by persons without active hand function.
Description
The binoculars sit with Velcro strap on a tilting stand (photo 3). The binoculars and the stand can be attached to the user’s variable “third hand” (see tip for stand), attached by a screw. Binoculars are fitted with a loop and stored in a holder on the window sill (photo 4).
The user focuses binoculars with his nose. A white line marks where the binoculars are perfectly focused.
Authors comments
Because the binoculars have a loop and are stored in an easily available holder, the user can pick up the binoculars himself and place them on his “third hand.” The “third hand” is connected to the electric wheelchair’s leg support and can be moved back and forth with the wheelchair motor.
The user has a vacation home and a raft. He often uses the binoculars there.
