Ceiling lift with bent U track make transfers possible in RV – suitable for people with extensive disabilities
Description
A U track made of two rails bent at 90-degree angles, which are readily available, is mounted on the RV ceiling.
The RV ceiling was reinforced by attaching aluminum beams on top of the roof. The lift is attached with through-bolts.
The lift motor is portable and has an integrated handle. It is always dismantled while the RV is traveling.
Model: Molift Nomad

Helena and her husband investigated the market to find a suitable ceiling lift for the RV.
The Molift is a compromise. It weighed less than any other lift they found and was also the only one that sat high enough (the RV ceiling height in 195 cm, which is a limitation). The lift is also the only one that can handle such a narrow turn.
The lift is still clumsy and the user would have preferred a more convenient model.
