Custom-built, suspended washbasin

Practical and aesthetic solution for washbasin that works for wheelchair users with impaired balance.

Description
A large solid wood teak board is suspended from the ceiling using propeller axles from the military’s 200 boats. An old washbasin from great grandmother’s time is built into the wood board. The drainpipe is bent backward so that it is not in the way for knees.

The user is very satisfied with the solution. His knees fit underneath and he can lean on the washbasin to keep his balance when brushing teeth, etc.
