Electric toothbrush with handle
Start » Customized electric toothbrush
The handle of the electric toothbrush enables a person without active hand function to brush teeth independently.
Description
The electric toothbrush has a handle glued on that is made of orthotic material. The handle is shaped like a cradle. The user presses the on/off button with his chin. The on/off button is enlarged with a piece of tube.
Build instructions
Handle: the orthotic material was heated with a hairdryer and shaped into an appropriate handle. The handle was attached to the toothbrush with hot melt adhesive.
Enlargement of on/off button: take a piece (about 0.5 cm) of catheter tube, glue it to the button and fill it with hot melt adhesive from the glue gun (other adhesive probably works too).
