Dishwasher placement is a compromise. Had it been positioned about 30 to 40 cm higher, the user would have been able to use it more, but the dishwasher would not have fit under the counter. Now he can mainly reach the top shelf and can load some of the dishes independently and unload flatware. He finds that push buttons are better than knobs that have to be turned. Handle design is important.
