Enables a person with disabilities to unlock a door by pushing a button

Description
Electric lock opener for entrance door controlled with wall contact (photo 1) or with a transmitter from GEWA's infralink system (Picture 2). GEWA's infralink system is based on infrared (IR) light and consists of transmitters and receivers.

The user has a transmitter with 6 push buttons and 20 different channels (IR-5SP) which can also control other functions in the house. A receiver sits by the lock. (IR-2M Polycode)

Authors comments
The lock opener is usually connected to an automatic door opener. But the user only wanted to unlock the entrance door by remote control. The user mainly uses the button on the wall.
