Start » Electric winch on adapted sailboat
A person with disabilities can use an electric winch to independently handle sails and anchor.
Description
With the electric winch the user can take care of the anchor, jib and mainsail. The winch is operated using a keypad.
The winch is also used for transfers to and from the boat. The boom serves as a lift. The rope is double-sided to reduce the load on the winch during moves (see related tips).
