Bathroom with ceiling lift and whirlpool tub
Description
The bathroom has a washbasin, shower, whirlpool tub and toilet. A ceiling lift reaches from the bed directly to the bathtub (see associated tip). The toilet is a Closomat, see also www.www.independentliving.co.uk/closomat/closomat.html (last checked March 2011). The toilet flush button is located on the water tank.

The house was renovated to meet the user's needs. Two small bedrooms and a small bathroom were converted into a large bedroom and large bathroom.
The user enjoys taking a whirlpool bath, even if getting in and out can be a somewhat complicated process.
He does not use the Closomaten's built-in shower and dryer, which could replace toilet paper, but it is easy for him to reach the flush button after emptying the urine bag (see associated tip).
