Battery pack is intended to sit on the belt. The user feels it is in the way. She keeps the battery pack in her jacket pocket. Note: It is important for people with impaired sensation to check that the socks do not get too hot. Also make sure the cables sit properly.
The controls are a disadvantage. There are two versions. One only has an on/off button. It can easily become too hot. On the other the heat can be regulated. The problem there is that it is easy for the user to change it by mistake.
