Start » Mug and mug holder on electric wheelchair
Suitable mug for persons with loss of sensation and compromised arm and/or hand function; the mug is always accessible in a holder on the electric wheelchair
Description
Insulating Tupperware mug has a large handle and is microwave-safe. The mug is stored in a specially designed holder that sits on the wheelchair’s controls. The holder consists of a folding ring that sits in an attached fitting. The ring can be twisted out of its holder and locked in a horizontal position; then the mug can be placed in the holder (photo 1). When the mug is not sitting in the holder, the user pulls out the ring and the holder collapses so it lies parallel to the control unit on the wheelchair (photos 3-4).
