Sliding doors are always practical when you sit in a wheelchair, according to the user. You get more room, you don’t have to move the wheelchair when opening or closing a door. The door slides easily to the side; sliding the door is easier than pulling or pushing it. Closing an ordinary door after going through a doorway when sitting in a wheelchair can otherwise be a little difficult.
