Authors comments
The user, who has had chafing problems, now uses the sliding mat to protect his skin and to make it easier on his shoulders during transfers. He also uses the sliding mat between his knees when he sleeps to avoid pressure ulcers. He uses an old pair of cut-off rain pants to slide easily over from the shower chair to the wheelchair since the red sliding mat is too large and thick for the purpose.
