Practical wooden shelf makes it easy for a wheelchair user to set the table
Description
There is a covered dining area on the wooden deck next to the ramp to the entrance, see associated tip. Between the entrance door and the table is a small wooden shelf. When the user sets or clears the table he places dishes, etc., on the shelf, which means that he does not have to transport anything while he drives on the ramp and rides around in the wheelchair.
Authors comments
The user is pleased with the shelf; it would have been even better if it had been longer and stretched all the way to the entrance door; then he could have placed the things on it before riding over the threshold to the entrance door.
