Transfer technique for persons with strong arms

Description
The user sits forward in the wheelchair to move past the side guard. He places his feet on the floor in front of the foot bar. He moves one hand down along the frame tube and supports himself with a fist on the floor. With the other hand he supports himself on the wheelchair cushion next to his hip. He then carefully lifts himself down to the floor.
