Transfer from wheelchair to motorboat

Transfers using adapted platform and attachment to swimming ladder.

Description
In order to get as close to the boat as possible with the wheelchair the boat is backed in at its mooring. Mooring uses y booms. A platform built of pressure-treated pine rests between the Y booms closest to the dock.

First the user transfers to a teak platform attached to the swimming ladder (see associated tip) and then transfers down to the boat aft seat of the boat.
