Mobile phone with sliding cover – suitable for persons with impaired hand function

Description
The sliding cover design allows the keypad to slide up with a gentle push of the palm (photo 3). This function is also the phone's on/off button. The user has the mobile phone hanging on a cord around her neck. To grasp the phone she hooks her thumb into the cord (photos 1 - 3). She punches in the number with the knuckle of her thumb (photo 1).
