Oven with side-opening door makes it easier for wheelchair users with impaired balance to remove hot bakeware from the oven.
Description
The oven has a side-hinged door; under the oven is a pull-out board. The oven-door is equipped with an easy-grip handle.
Technique for removal of hot bakeware from the oven: Susanne supports both elbows on the pull-out board, uses a double-folded towel and grasps bakeware with both hands and places it on the pull-out board; from there she slides it onto a tray, which she has on her lap.
